Time marches on

I think I went to bed last night, in fact... yeah, I climbed into the loft, set my alarm, put on my eye mask because the evil roommate was still up, and I laid there. I was in bed. That's normally where you sleep right? My eyes closed on occasion, and there are increments of time that it appears I was out of consciousness... but did I really sleep?

My coffee maker is dead, I had to ask for money, and I'm going on what was supposed to be 7 hours of sleep but feels like maybe an hour... if that. I feel like shit.
