Title: Kitchen disaster
Author: viggygirl
Format: Drabble
Rating: G
Pairing: Grissom/Sara
Disclaimer: I don't own these characters, and I only WISH I could make money from this story.
Spoilers: None.
Author's Note: This is for
jenbachand, a short snippet of Grissom and Sara inspired by the prompt "cook" at
gsrdrabbles Happy Birthday!
“They’re burned to ash,” Sara said, her shoulders slumped in defeat.
“No, it’s just a little crispier than usual.” Grissom smirked at the incredibly brown toast, noting the burned scent that seemed to permeate the entire kitchen.
Instead of fading away, the smell seemed to be getting worse. Glancing around, he tried to figure out where the smell was coming from.
Then, in a burst of flame and smoke, the potholder that was too close to a burner made everything clear.
Dinner wasn’t happening tonight.
Frowning at their now-mess, Grissom offered a suggestion, “Take out?”
Sara grinned, “Pizza or Chinese?”
